ACCT 102 - Accounting Princ. II Managerial Credits: 3 This course addresses managerial accounting concepts which are necessary for decisionmaking, performance evaluation, planning, and control. Emphasis is placed on using accounting data as a tool to enhance the informations usefulness to the firms management. The course deals with corporate equity, the management cycle, product costing methods and standards, responsibility accounting and segment analysis, budgeting, costbehaviors, activitybased systems, statement analysis, and preparation of the statement of cash flow. Quantitative methods necessary for managerial accounting will be emphasized. Prerequisite: ACCT101 (Grade of C or better)
