ANTH 220 - Environment & Cultural Behavior Credits: 3 This course is an anthropological approach to human environmental issues and global environmental problems and the various ways people worldwide have come to adapt to a wide variety of habitats. Strategies and their environmental consequences used by hunter gatherers, subsistence herders, horticulturists, agriculturalists, and industrial societies are explored. Peoples and environments of Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, Australia, and Oceania are studied.
