COMM 221 - Radio Production & Broadcasting Credits: 3 This course examines the production of radio broadcasting to prepare the student for an onair radio shift. It analyzes the creative responsibilities involved in the elements of a radio station broadcast day while following FCC rules. Students will be trained to use studio and remote audio equipment, operating the radio station automation equipment, practice in writing and producing a radio show, DJ and talk, directing, and performing in audio production. The student will be required to produce 1 hour of local radio programing for WRSK 97.5 LPFM .
