CRJS 230 - Practicum in Criminal Justice Agency Operations

Credits: 3
This course applies theory to the actual functioning of local agencies of the criminal justice system. Students are exposed to the theoretical underpinnings of such agencies as the police, prosecutor, public defender, courts, jails, prisons and emergency management response agencies. Extensive opportunities to participate in the actual operations of these agencies are also provided.Prerequisite: 30 credits including 12 in criminal justice, 3.0 GP A and permission of coordinator
