This course examines the response of the law enforcement community to both domestic and international terrorism, with a special emphasis on the origins of terrorism. Related topics include an examination of the terrorists mindset, the rise of extremist groups, the role of special interest/anarchist groups, terrorist financing, the management of domestic terrorism, the role of intelligence, concepts of threat assessment, and legal considerations associated with terrorist intelligence and management strategies.
