MATH 015 - Introductory Algebra I Credits: 3 This course, the first part of a twosemester basic algebra sequence, equips students with a working knowledge of basic algebraic concepts with a strong emphasis on problemsolving skills. Topics include variable expressions, first degree equations and inequalities, exponents, and polynomials. Upon successful completion of this course, the student must enter MATH017. Prerequisite: MATH010 (Grade of C or betterI) or appropriate mathematics placement score
