MATH 040 - Intermediate Algebra

This course equips students with the algebraic concepts necessary for precalculus. Topics include completing the square, the quadratic formula, absolute value equations and inequalities, graphing linear and quadratic functions, rational exponents, radical equations, and complex numbers. Prerequisite: MATH017 (Grade of C or betterI) or MATH023 (Grade of C or betterI) or appropriate algebra placement score
