PHOT 110 - Film Photography I

This art course is designed for the beginning student of black and white photography. Students are introduced to the basic technical skills of operating a 35mm camera, recording images on film, and using a darkroom to create photographic prints. Critiques, reference to digital technologies, to important photographers, and trips to museums and galleries guide students in understanding the aesthetic implications of their technical decisions in this medium.
