PSYC 204 - Theory & Practice of Psychological Counseling

Credits: 3
This course will provide an introduction to counseling theory and practice with an emphasis on the principles of the counseling process including the APA Code of Ethics, methods, assessment, diagnostic categories, client change, and empathy. The learning experience will include individual and/or group projects. Prerequisite: PSYC101and PSYC203

Prerequisite: PSYC 101 and PSYC 203
