PSYC 237 - Multicultural Psychology Credits: 3 This course introduces students to major theoretical perspectives on the experience and social construction of cultural difference. Drawing on theories from social, clinical, developmental and cognitive psychology, the course provides students with a foundation for understanding the origins and maintenance of various cultures within the United States, while also including global cultural comparisons. Prerequisite: PSYC101
