FRST 110 - Fire Behavior and Combustion

Credits: 3
This course will provide students with a thorough understanding of the chemical and physical properties of flammable materials and fire, the combustion process, and the latest in suppression and extinguishment. The learning outcomes of this course meet and exceed the Fire & Emergency Service Higher Education (FESHE) curriculum set forth by the United States Fire Administration (USFA) and replicate the language and wording structure of the FESHE curriculum.PREREQUISITES: FRST 101 and FRST 109 or with permission from the FRST Program Manager
