FRST 208 - Hazardous Materials Chemistry

Credits: 3
This course provides basic chemistry relating to the categories of hazardous materials including recognition, identification, reactivity, and health hazards encountered by emergency services. The learning outcomes of this course meet and exceed the Fire & Emergency Service Higher Education (FESHE) curriculum set forth by the United States Fire Administration (USFA) and replicate the language and wording structure of the FESHE curriculum.PREREQUISITES: FRST103, FRST110, FRST111, or with permission from the FRST Program Manager
