HUMS 170 - Intro. to Gerontology Credits: 3 This course introduces the student to a range of topics relevant to working directly with the elderly population, including the changing roles of older adults in postindustrial societies, the human services needs of older adults, community resources for older adults, issues involved in working with families and caregivers, and knowledge of adult developmental processes.
