HUMS 205 - Social Welfare Policy

This course examines the history and philosophy of U.S. social welfare policy from World War I through the present. The relative impact of political, social, and economic forces on policy decisions is examined in depth, and U.S. Policy is compared to that of other western democracies. Prerequisite: HUMS101 and SOCA101
