FRST 111 - Bldg. Constr. for Fire Service

Credits: 3
This course provides the components of building construction related to firefighter and life safety. The elements of construction and design of structures are shown to be key factors when inspecting buildings, preplanning fire operations, and operating in emergencies. The learning outcomes of this course meet and exceed the Fire & Emergency Service Higher Education (FESHE) curriculum set forth by the United States Fire Administration (USFA) and replicate the language and wording structure of the FESHE curriculum.PREREQUISITE: FRST101 and FRST109 or with permission from FRST Program Manager
