MATH 40 - Intermediate Algebra

Credits: 3
This course equips students with the algebraic concepts necessary for pre-calculus. Topics include completing the square, the quadratic formula, absolute value equations and inequalities, graphing linear and quadratic functions, rational exponents, radical equations, and complex numbers. Prerequisite: MATH017 (Grade of C or betterI) or MATH023 (Grade of C or betterI) or appropriate algebra placement score
