WELD 230 - Creative Welding

Credits: 3
Instruction in this course emphasizes techniques necessary to produce and manufacture a plethora of forms, utilizing oxyfuel welding and cutting, plasma cutting, shielded metal arc welding (stick), and gas metal arc welding (wire). Students are instructed in safe work practices, which are followed. Individual instruction is also encouraged to help critique and improve skills to help meet the student’s creative ends. Prerequisite: WELD135, WELD140, WELD201 Lab Fee Required Lab Fee Required.
