This course is designed to teach students the foundational knowledge required to provide safe and effective patient care, nutrition, fluid intake, comfort, rest, and sleep. In a lab setting, the management of patients with injuries and how to assist in the nursing process of patient admission, discharge, and transfer will be covered and practiced. Lab fee required.
