ESOL 97 - Communication & Presentation Skills for ESOL Students

This is an advanced course for non-native speakers of English in public speaking. Emphasis will be placed on speech organization, effective delivery, public presentations, and critical listening skills for effective note taking in the academic environment. A strong emphasis is placed on student performance to help the student gain speech practice, and develop self-confidence in addressing a variety of audiences in multiple speaking situations. Prerequisite: ESOL086 and ESOL087
