ENGL 222 - Shakespeare Credits: 3 This course provides students with an introduction to the works and world of the immortal Bard. Focus is on Shakespeares handling of the greatest human dilemmas: the problems of power, the relationship of the individual to society, and the complexities of love. Students will be required to read samplings from the sonnets as well as selected histories, comedies, and tragedies. Prerequisite: ENGL101 and ENGL102 (Grade of C or better)
